Here are thumbnails of the raw sections scanned with the Huron scanner at 1 micron. These sections are not aligned to the previously acquired images from the flatbad scanner, nor are they aligned to the reconstructed 3-D volume. The quality of some images may be degraded due to stain crystallization. The specifiers TS01, TS02, TS03 in the filename refer to the ID of the specific Huron scanner. Finally, not all sections have been rescanned (7481 out of 7676). The following provides side-by-side images of the sections acquired with the Huron (left) and flatbed (right) scanner. This allows for easy identification and selection of good quality images at 1 micron to be mapped to the 20-micron aligned brain. Note: If some Huron sections are rotated (like 90 degrees), please let us know.
